Last year I had the idea to explore leather as a perfume note. Smelling different raw materials in my lab, I come to the conclusion that I wanted to go deeper by pushing the boundaries on what is already well-known and offered in perfumery: leather perfumes.
Through mixing some leather and suede molecules with a few natural absolutes (linden blossom, macis and nutmeg) I got very weird yet familiar results that resonates me. In that moment I had the idea to create not a leather smell, but a collection of fragrances that explore fabrics and materials (leather, stones, velvet, cotton, aluminum, etc) by deconstructing and transforming them into the abstract and futuristic concept of new discovered textures from solar surfaces.
